Stu grew up in Woody Creek and graduated from Aspen High School in 2002. He grew up rafting on the Colorado and Roaring Fork Rivers. Stu worked as a commercial guide since 2007 on the Animas, Arkansas, Colorado, Piedra, Roaring Fork and San Miguel rivers. Stu enjoys skiing and rafting with his beautiful wife, Christina and their sons, Oliver and Robin.
